Diner Dash is a great arcade/action game where you play Flo as she attempts to set up a chain of restaurants. The gameplay is based around telling Flo what to do next by clicking on the various tables, objects and customers: for instance, you click on a table to take the order then click on the order wheel to place that order with the chef. When the meal is ready, you click on it, then click on the table it is for. Although a fairly simple gameplay technique, the action soon builds up as your restaurant grows in size in both tables and customers. Thankfully the game stores up your commands, so you can tell Flo what to do in advance, then concentrate on something else while she does it.

Along the way you also purchase new equipment to help keep your customers happy, such as a coffee machine, a stereo, a new oven and even a performer (who helps to entertain your queuing customers). Diner Dash has a light, cartoony feel to it which is sure to brighten up your day. Your first restaurant starts off fairly shabby, but you'll soon have it looking bright and new as you spend your hard earned money on renovations and even on completely new restaurants.

The sound is great. The music is the kind of background music you'd expect to hear at a restaurant and doesn't get too repetitive. It is enhanced with the occasional murmurings of your happy customers and the clink of cutlery as they enjoy their meals. To sum up, Diner Dash is a great game and the best available in its genre.
