When you visit our site :
Our web space provider, like most, keeps log files
on website activity. These files do not contain data
which can be linked to any personal information. Analysing these log
files gives us some insight into how well our site is
performing.
These logs may include your IP (Internet Protocol)
address, browser type, ISP (Internet Service Provider),
referring/exit pages, platform type, time stamp and number of clicks
on the website.
When you buy our games :
In order to provide secure processing of your credit
card all orders are processed through our well-known sale partners
SWREG.org or Regnow.com. They operate under their own privacy
policies.
All credit card information is submitted over a
secure server and encrypted using the latest SSL encryption before
transit.
At no time do we have
access to your credit card, bank account or other financial
information. We will never ask you
to resend your credit card / bank information. Please report any such
requests using our Contacts page.
Our registration process requires you to enter a
valid e-mail address which is used to send your 'registration key'.
This key is linked to your email address. To unlock
the full version of the game, you will need to enter both your email
address and key. The key does not
contain your email address. It is impossible for anyone to find your
email address from the key we generate.
We store the email address and registration key of
each customer. This allows us to re-issue lost keys, keep track of
customer support and validate refund requests. This information is
stored offline.
When you sign up for our newsletter :
We will never
automatically add you to our newsletter mailing list. To subscribe
to our newsletter :
- Fill in the subscription form you'll find in the News section.
- Reply to the conformation email we will send to the address you entered.
Our newsletter is sent out around once per month
until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time by following
the instructions at the bottom of the newsletter or using the
unsubscribe form in the News section.
When you submit your high scores :
You can submit your high scores for inclusion in our
global high score table. This is done by submitting the contents of
the 'Scores.txt' file found in the installation directory.
This encrypted text file contains the following
information :
- Your high scores.
- Any names which you have entered into the high score table.
- A section of your registration key.
To help us stop players with pirated copies
submitting high scores, we include the first 8 digits of your
registration key (assuming your copy is registered). This is not
enough information to reconstruct your registration key, or any
other personal information.
